Great Expectations - Winter Passing - An Extraordinary Movie

Adam Rapp's offbeat film about homecoming and reconciliation features an all-star cast, including Will Ferrell (Old School), Zooey Deschanel (Almost Famous, Elf) and Oscar nominee Ed Harris (1998, Best Supporting Actor, The Truman Show). When a book editor (Academy Award nominee Amy Madigan ? 1985, Best Supporting Actress, Twice in a Lifetime) offers to buy the love letters of Reese Holden's (Deschanel) parents, Reese must return home to recover them, only to find her widowed dad (Harris) golfing upstairs, sleeping outside, and living with roommates ? a pretty grad student (Amelia Warner) and a quirky wanna-be musician (Ferrell)! As Reese begins to understand her roots, she learns to accept who she's become.

You should see it, make no mistake this is a definite blockbuster!

Wow! I really loved the movie Winter Passing. The movie is absolutely stunning with top-notch graphics and visuals while Zooey Deschanel deliver some award-winning performances in this movie.

I also think Darrell Larson was great! The visuals and graphics make for some very realistic on screen special-effects but that is the beauty of the movie. When the movie wants to be funny it is funny, the same is true for when the movie needs to deliver its scary aspects.

I think Zooey Deschanel and Darrell Larson worked wonderful in Winter Passing. The great supporting cast includes Zooey Deschanel, Darrell Larson, John Bedford Lloyd, Deirdre O'Connell, Mandy Siegfried.

At Home with the Braithwaites - The Complete First Series - Movie Reviews and Your Movie Experience

On her 40th birthday, Alison Braithwaite gets the surprise of her life when she wins 38 million in the first Euro Lottery. She decides to keep the news of her win from her family so as not to encourage the baser instincts of her three squabbling daughters and banker husband. But she's not the only one living a double life. As her family lurches from one crisis to another, Alison tries to use her windfall responsibly, resisting the pressure to let her family in on her secret. Eventually, though, all the Braithwaite secrets come tumbling out in one big pile of dirty linen.

A smash hit in the U.K., this cutting-edge dramatic comedy stars acclaimed actress Amanda Redman (Sexy Beast) with Peter Davison (Campion, Dr. Who), Lynda Bellingham (My Uncle Silas), and Sylvia Syms (The Jury).
